Rooted, my flagship coaching program, is where it all begins — a one-on-one experience that combines fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle support to build the foundation for lasting change.

There are only two reasons why you'd be on this page:

  1. My devilish good looks.

  2. You're not getting the results you want.

...and if I were a betting man, it's because of the second option. 

Whether it's because you're overwhelmed by the noise—social media, podcasts, and every "expert" with a new book deal. All promising to teach you how to live forever and look like a top model while doing it.

...or because you know what to do but struggle to do it. You're frustrated with the starting and stopping, the losing weight only to gain it back, and feeling like your body (and mind) fights you at every turn.

It doesn't have to be this way. After rebuilding my entire fitness approach through my own health struggles, I've discovered what works when conventional methods fall short.

Rooted helps people over 35 tired of empty promises and "miracle" solutions. Together, we'll cut through the noise with a straightforward approach built around your body, schedule, and life.

    Assessment & Onboarding

    Before building your roadmap, we need to understand where you are, what you’ve tried, and where you want to go. We’ll start with an in-depth consultation to chat about your goals, the challenges you’ve faced, and what matters to you most.

    From there, you'll share your background and training experience. Then, we'll see how you move and assess your current fitness and nutrition habits. This will help us find a starting point that's right for you.

    With a clear understanding of your starting place, we'll create a workout program that meets you exactly where you are and takes you where you want to go. Your program adapts to your goals, equipment, schedule, and limitations. And the best part? Your program evolves with you, adjusting as you progress.

    We'll focus on the movements and workouts that give you the biggest return on your time so you get results — no matter how busy life gets.

  • Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching

    Fitness is just one piece of the puzzle. We'll look at your current nutrition and lifestyle habits to understand what's working and what's not. No restrictive diets or one-size-fits-all meal plans—instead, we'll build sustainable eating habits that support you.

    You'll learn straightforward approaches to everyday challenges — meal planning, dining out, traveling, sleeping better, and managing stress — without overcomplicating it.

    Our focus is on giving you the tools and teaching you the "why" behind each recommendation. This way, you gain the knowledge to make the best decisions for the rest of your life.

  • Accountability & Support

    Let's be honest — if it came down to knowing what to do, you'd be where you want by now. Getting results isn't about information. It's about learning to take consistent action. That's why accountability and support are the backbone of our coaching relationship.

    • Daily support when needed most — get your questions answered through our coaching app with responses within one (1) business day.

    • Weekly check-ins to keep you on track, address challenges, and make quick adjustments to anything not working.

    • Monthly Zoom calls let us explore your situation in detail, fine-tune our approach, and keep you moving forward regardless of what life throws at you.

    Beyond our one-on-one work, you'll have access to the PBF Collective. A space to share your struggles, celebrate your wins, and get advice from others doing the work alongside you—not just from me.

    2. Education - I not only want you to achieve a life-changing transformation, I want the results to last you a lifetime. The best way to do that is by teaching you everything you'll ever need to know about training, nutrition & living a healthy lifestyle.

    3. Accountability - A plan without follow through is useless. That's why I focus so much on keeping you accountable on a daily basis.

    4. Support - Not everyday is going to be perfect. That's okay! This is why you'll have the support from me to help you navigate those days that aren't perfect.

    5. Community - Having other people around you that all share the same goals, struggles and aspirations makes it so much easier to stay on track. This is why I'm so big on the community aspect of the program.

  • Every aspect of coaching is personalized to your unique needs and experience. We meet you where you are and nudge you in the right direction along the way.

    In other words, I work with beginners all the time. As long as you’re willing to put in the work and be a little uncomfortable upfront with something new, you’ll do great!

  • I hear this often. You’ve likely never had someone who gave you a personalized approach, educated you, kept you accountable, gave you support, and implemented a community experience before. My goal is I’m the last fitness coach you’ll ever need!

  • That’s a secret! Just kidding. Right now, I’m in the Philadelphia area. However, it doesn’t matter much because everything we do is completely online.

  • I prefer that you have a gym membership or a well-equipped home gym. If not, no biggie!

    We can still get great results with your bodyweight and some resistance bands. However, if that’s the case, I’ll most likely recommend purchasing some equipment as you progress.

    But, at the end of the day, everything is built around you, your goals, priorities, schedule, and limitations—including equipment. 

  • Simply put, yes. Many of the clients I’ve worked with over the years are parents, busy professionals, and/or travel often. Life doesn’t stop for your workouts or because you need to chop broccoli—I know that.

    We have systems and strategies to keep you on track with the goals we’ve set, no matter what life throws at you.

  • I’ve been coaching fitness since 2012, and I’ve been coaching online since 2014 (before it became cool!). I built Rooted coaching the way I have because I know it works... and physiology and psychology say so, too.

    The clients who get the best results from working together do the following:

    1. Complete their weekly check-ins on time.

    2. Update their workouts and mark their nutrition and lifestyle habits complete or not complete.

    3. Schedule their monthly calls.

    Seriously.

    Nowhere did you see me say anything about not missing a workout or being perfect. The clients who get the best results show up and communicate with me.

    I can’t help you if you don’t let me know what’s going on.

  • At this time, we do not accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) cards for our fitness coaching services. However, we are actively exploring options to integrate FSA/HSA payments in the future to make our services more accessible to our clients.

    For clients looking to use their FSA or HSA funds, we recommend:

    • Checking with your plan administrator about potential reimbursement options

    • Keeping detailed receipts of our services in case you can submit them for out-of-network reimbursement

    • Consulting with a tax professional about potential health-related expense deductions
